Lots to say about this one!

First: Naveed breaks the iron-
man record previously held by Erik 
by playing his 65th game, that's 
over 4 years without missing a 
single game! Unfortunately he's 
missing next week!  That will make 
Jason and Avik the active leaders 
with 22 consecutive games.

We had one sub (to their 5), but 
went down to zero when Adrian got hurt 
about 10 minutes into the game.

Tariq opens the scoring in the
first half, and Ben gets credited
with the insurance goal after an 
own-goal by Hull midway into the
second half.

Positions were mixed up, Ben was
the only forward present, so Jason
and Kashif were moved up, Naveed
did double time on defence and half
and Phil moved back on defence.
Worked out in the end.

As always, games against Gatineau 
teams are overly rough.  In the 
second half, after a "bench clearing
gathering at the side of the field"
a Gatineau was red-carded for punching
one of our players (classy!).

The ref offered to end the game on the
spot, but we accepted to keep playing
as long as the offending player was 
gone (which he was with the red-card).

The red-card evened out the the fact
that we were getting tired (no subs) and 
helped us win the game.
