The game was a lot closer than the score let on 
as the opposing team came on a lot stronger 
(with the wind at their backs) in the second 
half. We won the game with some timely goals 
and some sub-standard goaltending from the 
opposing team. 

Game played in "hurricane" force winds 
that really played a role in the game. Opened 
the scoring with a nifty header from Tariq off 
a beautiful free kick by Damian. Gilles, bum 
ankle and all, finally manages to stay onside 
to score a nice goal to put us up 2-0 after 
the first half. The opposing team cuts it down 
to 2-1 early in the second half but avik puts 
the game away with a dribbler that nutmegs the 
keeper. Gilles finishes the opposing team off 
minutes later with his second goal of the game. 

Defence plays great making many great 
goal-line saves to keep the game from getting 
any closer.
