Good thing Louis checked the
standings a couple hours before
the game.  We thought we already
had first place pretty much
locked up.  But a late 
correction on the OCSL site 
meant that we had to get one
point in this game to become
champions.  And we managed to
do just that.

Steph puts in his best game
of the year, good thing too, 
it was his busiest.

We went down 1-0 and again
2-1, good thing we learned
how to come back in the last
year or two!

3 players, 3 errors, 3 seconds
led to the second goal against,
but thankfully Tariq evened out
the score with about 10 minutes 
to go in the game (much to my
relief!).

Unfortunately, Celta lost their
cool quite quickly in this game,
an innocent play (by both sides
in my opinion) led to three 
yellow cards in one shot.  If 
cool heads had prevailed, there
likely would have been none.

Chad shows up a little late, but
really helped the team with his
inexhaustible (new word!) energy.

Tri pops in his goal after a 
very nice series of passes, and
Tariq bags his goal long distance
with perfect placement.

Bruno has 3 or 4 great slide-
tackles, including one I'd slap
on Wikipedia as the perfect
tackle...  If I had it on tape!
