game opens with pressure from the opposing 
team for the first 10-15minutes with jason 
making some key saves to keep it scoreless. 
after, we take over the game with great ball 
control, passing and hustle. feo opens the 
scoring with a shot thathugs the near post 
and curls around the back of the net. 
damian then scores an amazing highlight 
reel header into the top corner of the net 
off of a unbelievable free-kick by tamer.
in the first half alone, we probably equaled 
our total on shots on net for the first 4 
games of the season.


we control the majority of the game with great 
ball control and positioning with some of our 
usual lapses in our defensive coverage (ie, 
midfield not coming back, defence going up
 too much) that leads to some quality 
chances for the opposing team (good thing 
they can't shoot straight)


uneventful second half until the opposing 
team scores with about 15 minutes to go 
on a 3 on 1 goal due to poor substitution 
and communication (jason almost robbed
the opposing team by getting a hand on it...
unfortunately, it still went in). however, 
feo is awarded a penalty shot with 
about a minute to go in the game and 
he makes no mistake and buries it...sealing
the victory.


overall, great game by us (minus a few 
minutes here and there). we have to continue 
playing like this (great positioning, ball control, 
passing and hustle) if we want to compete 
on a game-by-game basis in this league
